Alissa + Bryan | Nebraska Wedding Photographer

Dec 1st, 2016

When Alissa and Bryan mentioned that their wedding was scheduled for early November, I mentally prepared myself for photographing  in the middle of a blizzard. November in Nebraska can be pretty hit or miss when it comes to the weather! I was pleasantly surprised when I checked the forecast the week before their wedding and realized that it was going to be unseasonably warm – almost 80 degrees, actually! With the warm, sunny weather, nice light breeze, and beautiful setting, Alissa and Bryan’s wedding was absolutely perfect in every way. They had a lovely ceremony -my favorite part was the unity ceremony where instead of sand or candles, Alissa and Bryan branded a piece of leather.

Before the reception, the wedding party piled onto a trailer for a hay rack ride through the grounds. Once the hay rack ride was over, it was time to head inside the barn for food & dancing. The rest of the night was full of food, fun and laughter. Thank you Alissa and Bryan for allowing me to take a small part in your special day. It was an honor to be there with you as you started your lives together.

“Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.” – Ann Landers

Venue: Bellevue Berry Farms

First look, first kiss, first hug, first laugh – the world stood still.

“With this ring, I give you my heart. I promise from this day forward, you shall not walk alone. May my heart be your shelter and my arms be your home.”

“True love doesn’t happen right away; it’s an ever-growing process. It develops after you’ve gone through many ups and downs, when you’ve suffered together, cried together, laughed together. ” – Ricardo Montalban
